This collaboration reflects the artists' commitments to environmental sustainability and feminist narratives. The dress, coat, and wings are hand-woven out of reclaimed textiles, yarn, and lace in various hues - evoking the layered, textured, and fluid expressions of identity, care, and transformation.
Wherever this Barbie goes, she leaves more than just footprints. Her long feathered wings carve trails into the earth and stir the air, lifting others in her wake. "Woven Wishes"invites us to weave our own wings, rise into our fullest selves, and shape our world with our deepest desires.
