Loyal Guardian

"Dogs feel and love so much in a world we built for humans with many struggling to find a home in."

With a blue-black gradient, I painted a guardian dog that emerges from darkness to ward off spiritual evils. Gold accents and a sword on its forehead echo Egyptian murals that honour dogs as divine protectors. Their sacred role inspired me to depict this figure as a transcendent icon—one that reflects humanity’s reliance on loyal companions to guide us through our darkest times. The wings and colors evoke vigilance, mysticism, and the fierce beauty of spiritual guardianship.
