I was inspired by my black cat, Totot! Black cats and dogs have a lot of trouble getting adopted because of untrue beliefs about them being bad luck or not cute. I wanted to paint a black dog dancing in the stars with sparkles and rhinestones, because that’s how I wish everyone saw them!
