Barbie Awakens is a tribute to resilience, imagination, and the power of transformation. Inspired by Star Wars, Barbie emerges from a hand-crafted spaceship cockpit, dressed in a white trooper vest and high boots—both made from repurposed parts of old, unwanted toys. Her wings are a fusion of 3D sculpture and upcycled plastic knives, which also detail her boots, symbolizing strength and reinvention. Poised for takeoff, she stands as a galactic dreamer—ready to rise. This piece celebrates how even discarded things can take flight again—just like every child’s potential to grow, shine, and soar.
