I took the deep dive into visual arts in my later years but as the saying goes, it’s never too late to live your dreams. I work with acrylics and my pieces are mostly heavily textured, some with an optical illusion. My works are exhibited in galleries and art fairs locally and internationally and it is a humbling experience. I believe that art has the power to unite, to heal, to find oneself and so much more. I am also a volunteer at the women’s prison’s Arts Behind Bars as an artist mentor. “Art Calms The Mind & Soothes The Soul”

“Mystic Dream” was created in line with my porcelain-inspired concept for my Barbie doll, Delicate Dreamer. The intention behind keeping it in monochrome blue and white is to portray a simple, vintage charm. Hearts with wings floating among oriental-inspired clouds tell a story of findinga our dreams and heading toward what our hearts desire — to go where our hearts take us and live our dreams.
