Anciline Jose is a self-taught embroidery artist and founder of “Magic Blend of Threads” and “Creative Circle SG,” a community for Singaporean crafters. She creates bespoke 3D hoops, paper embroidery, and portraits. Anciline hosts live sessions and turns embroidery into sustainable wearable art, including accessories and bags for brands. She shares beginner tutorials and workshops, promoting embroidery as a calming, creative outlet reducing stress. By upcycling old clothes, she champions sustainable, slow living and makes embroidery accessible.

Emerging from a rainbow, she found her true colors—soft, kind, powerful. As she embraced her uniqueness, she rose with grace, becoming a rainbow in someone’s life—a symbol of hope, light, and inspiration. This vision comes alive in a hand-embroidered artwork featuring 3D floral wings, crafted with over 15 stitches and more than 20 shades, symbolizing her blooming talents. The skirt is embroidered on upcycled fabric with lace detailing, while the top is adorned with hand-stitched sequin work. Backed with felt for strength and stitched with intention, this piece took over 40 hours to complete—a heartfelt journey in thread.
